Sol Bloch Music, Inc.

This is Sol's fourth year as the Choral Director at Fieldstone Secondary School.  He also serves as the Director of the Spring Musical at both Fieldstone and NRHS along with his colleague and friend, Justin Boccito. Sol is also the organist at St. Paul's Church in Congers, NY. 

Before teaching at Fieldstone, Sol was the Choral Director at Nyack Middle School.  He also served as Musical Director for the NMS Spring Musicals for over ten years.

Before teaching full time, Sol served as Music Director at the Clarkstown Summer Theatre Festival, Helen Hayes Youth Theatre and many other productions in the metropolitan area. 

Sol received his Master of Arts in Teaching Music from Lehman College of the CIty University of New York.  While at Lehman, he studied with Pulitzer Prize winning composer John Corigliano.  He also studied with choral director Dr. Diana Battipaglia and served as associate choral director of the Lehman College and Community Chorus.  While there, he assisted in preparing choruses for many works including Bach's Mass in B Minor, Handel's Messiah, and Mozart's Requiem among others.

Sol was recognized with a MAC award nomination for his work as an arranger and performer with the popular vocal group High-5 Vocalworks.
